Which medication is right for me (Semaglutide or tirzepatide)? Semaglutide:

This is largely personal preference. Please consult your physician to help you decide which of these medications is best for you.

  • Semaglutide mimics the action of a naturally occurring hormone in the body called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). By targeting GLP-1 receptors present throughout the body, semaglutide works to increase insulin secretion from the pancreas in response to eating, helping to lower blood sugar levels. This is how it helps diabetics.
  • Semiglutide also works on the region in the brain involved in appetite regulation, but signaling a feeling of fullness and reducing appetite.
  • Semaglutide also slows down the rate at which food leaves your stomach, helping you to feel fuller for longer, works as a GLP-1 receptor agonist in the brain helping to reduce hunger and controls cravings for sugar, unhealthy foods, and alcohol, making it easy to eat less and sensibly.
  • Semaglutide is the FDA-approved active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®.
  • Compounded Semaglutide, which we offer, is a non-branded version of semaglutide which contains the exact same active ingredient as Ozempic® or Wegovy®., therefore it is also highly effective in achieving substantial weight loss. It’s made by specialized pharmacies and goes through rigorous testing to ensure the highest safety and quality standard, while also being up to 80% cheaper than branded alternatives.
  • Semaglutide is the only GLP-1 agonist medication shown to sustain 15% weight loss at 2 years
Tirzepatide:
  • Tirzepatide is a synthetic peptide that acts as a dual agonist at both the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor targeting multiple metabolic pathways for carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism. This combination provides a greater reduction in appetite than semaglutide alone.
